After I coloured the Baby Fun design last time, I thought that perhaps some of you might prefer a more softly-coloured version. Here are my two latest colourways, in the traditional blue for boys and pink for girls. I love that the same pattern can look so different if you use different colours!
Do you know a baby who needs a quilt (don't they all?). Then I have the perfect pattern for you. This is the Quizzle® pattern called Baby Fun. I have coloured it with the primary colours of red, blue and yellow and named my version Baby Primaries.
This delightful design measures 44" x 55" and is easy
to make with detailed step-by-step instructions and diagrams so that even
the beginner can achieve brilliant results. You can even make it for yourself - the pattern makes a fabulous lap quilt. To purchase this pattern, click here to visit the Quizzle® website.
My state quilting guild holds its annual quilt show in June each year and it's always a wonderful time to be inspired by the different styles of quilts on display. I've been working there in the mornings this week for three days, and playing with friends in the afternoons. Oh, and of course there's always the shopping!
I can't show you photos of the quilts here, but you can see photos of all the prize-winning quilts by clicking here. Enjoy!
In response to the question: what pattern do you like most on printed fabric, the majority of you preferred florals. Japanese prints and spots tied for second place in the popularity stakes. I'd love to see a Quizzle® pattern made with Japanese prints - have you reinterpreted a Quizzle® this way?
In case you're wondering about the Other vote, it was for tone-on-tone prints.
